Following alot of soul searching with regards to saving labour costs on metalwork pieces in general we have decided not to cut back on the time we spend polishing down our welded areas. In our opinion, and it has been our opinion for a long time, “welding is a means of joining two pieces of metal together and should not be seen in Architectural Metalwork pieces”. Where possible, the welds should be hidden, avoided or polished. This gives a far greater appearance to the finished piece, be it a staircase, balustrade or even a canopy. Try it for yourself and see what ugly welds you can notice.
