 We are just about to commence fabrication on one of the most interesting projects taken by Stapleton Engineering Limited in the last few years. It’s a mirror polished stainless steel feature canopy for the Gaiety Centre in the Heart of Dublin. It creates a wonderful challenge to us as we are to manufacture this 6m x 8m canopy in one piece and it will appear seamless on completion. The art of top quality stainless steel welding and hand polishing will come to the fore as this piece will look as if it came from a mould. The logistics alone is a major challenge with the journey going to take 2 days to complete from our workshop in Ballyfoyle, Kilkenny to site.
